Life Is Totally Twisted

Have you ever had the feeling
That you were too pressured
To choose from something you're sure of
And from something you're happy with?

It's like you don't know if
You're brave enough to take the risk
Of letting go of everything you hold on to

Life is totally twisted,
Things change and shift happens.
So, know what you really want and go for it.
Choose what makes you happy today or die in sadness tomorrow.

A Poem for my Dad

Did I ever say thanks

Did I ever say thanks
for all the toys you mended,
games we played,
and the way you
always tried to cheer
me when I was down?

Did I ever say thanks for
the sacrifices you made
so I could be involved
in so many enriching
activities?

Did I ever say thanks for
working so hard
to provide for our family?

Did I ever say thanks
for having such faith in me
and always being there
when I needed you?

Most of all,
Did I ever say thanks for caring?

DAD, I LOVE YOU

Happy Valentines...

Love is patient...
Love is kind...
It does not envy...
It does not boast...
It is not proud...
It is not rude...
It is not self-seeking...
It is not easily angered...
It keeps no record of wrongs...
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth...
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres...
Love never fails...
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love...

Footprints in the Sand..

.....we have some problems in our lives, maybe you read somewhere along the way that Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us, but if we look back in life, sometimes in the lowest point in our life we almost see one footprints in the sand.

Do you have days where you feel lonely, un-loved, and not wanted? We all experience days like that, don't we? When I'm feeling down and lonely, I always turn to God in prayer.

God has recently carried me through one of the toughest times in my life so far and this poem reminds me of His eternal and unending love for me, for us all, and especially for the sinner and the one who turns his back on the Lord

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

.....Very touching. My brothers and sisters when you could no longer carry yourself the Lord will carry you.
.....God is always with you and gets you through the rough times. You may feel alone during those times but you never are.
.....Never give up on Jesus like he never gave up on you.

I Love You!

I Love You
not only for what you are,
but what I am when I am with you.

I Love You
not only for what you have made of yourself,
but moreso, for what you are making of me.

I Love You
because you attempt to perfect my being of
kindheartedness - to live a life of love,
goodwill and gracious compassion.

I Love You
for your faithful show of affection,
the warmth of your friendship and your genuine concern - more
than any fate could have it to make me truly happy.

You have rendered it all without a touch,
without a word and without a sign.

You have brought all these about by being yourself.
And thus, perhaps, that is what true love is all about
about after all.

I Love You.

i hope someday i can render this poem to someone. i will read this poem in front of her seriously.

I am Bored!

Sitting in my cube
So bored, nothing new
My mind trying to find
Something I can do to occupy
My empty brain going to waste

The khaki brown walls
Empty my head of thought
I sit bored staring at the wall.
Help me some one
I am so bored...

i am angry!!!

I’m angry because you pursued me relentlessly and told me you wanted me
to be your boyfriend.
I’m angry because I learned you did that with others while we were still
together.
I’m angry because you lied when you told me you weren’t attracted to men I
later learned you screwed.
I’m angry because I can’t tell you how angry I am.
I’m angry that it makes me hurt when I see, hear or write your name – even
when it isn’t you who’s being referred to.
I’m angry that you led me to believe you wanted a life with me.
I’m angry that I can’t just come over your place when I feel like it.
I’m angry that you would probably let me if I wanted and that I have to resist.
I’m angry because I can’t talk to you.
I’m angry because I’m lonely and you have several lovers vying for your
attention.
I’m angry that I don’t know exactly when you began disregarding my feelings.
I’m angry that I don’t know what things you said were true and which were
not.
I’m angry you never tried.
I’m angry I liked you so much in the beginning – or was so excited that
someone attractive and interesting wanted to spend time with me that I
ignored warning signs.
I’m angry it took 5 years to find someone so easy to be around – and I’m
afraid it may be even longer until I do again.
I’m angry I fell in love with you.
I’m angry because I don’t have a crush on anyone right now.
I’m angry because I haven’t been happy for months.
I’m angry I can’t just make things right.
I’m angry when strangers in stores or on the street tell me to “smile.”
I’m angry that you are having fun and not suffering like I am.
I’m angry that I’m jealous of whoever’s in your life now.
I’m angry that when I suggested that you take some time to be single, you
emphatically said you didn’t want that and were happy with our relationship.
I’m angry that I believed for so long that you loved me.
I’m angry I haven’t moved on.
I’m angry that I feel like crying right now.
I’m angry because I can never have a truly honest conversation with you.
I’m angry because I have to avoid you.
I’m angry that it hurts when I see things you would like or be interested in –
or when I hear someone else talk about them.
I’m angry there are so many of those things.
I’m angry that I don’t have someone telling me that I’m goodlooking.
I’m angry I shared so many personal secrets and fears with you.
I’m angry that I don’t really know you at all.
I’m angry because others knew about your behavior before I did.
I’m angry I will never know how much meaning our relationship had for you.
I’m angry because I will never know how you really felt about me.
I’m angry because I still think of you.

*for some reason i re-post this poem again.
* pick up your favorite line, that tells your true emotion.
