Virgin Girl

I got into a debate today, well mini-debate. It was about the average age people lose their virginity. We both agreed that it has become prevalent to do so at too young of an age. These are sad sad facts. Children these days are bombarded with insecurities and malformed morals due to the influence of the media and the like.

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?  You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price.  Therefore honor God with your body,"
(1 Cor. 6:19-20).

  3. Grabe nga. These days it seemed that "doing it" is part of growing up, of being a teenager. Society (some of the teens) will tell you it's normal. But when a girl gets preggy, she is then blamed for doing it in the first place and sometimes worse, is seen as a "bitch". How ironic!

  7. I think sex is really taboo in this country. I am not a virgin but my parents are not going to hear it from me. They are smart enough to deduce it but they are hoping that I still am.

We are all entitled to do what we wish to do. Even God was willing to let us do that since he gave us FREE WILL. But sometimes teenagers are cruel. I know a friend who was a guy and he is a virgin (in the guy way) and he was forced by his fratbrothers to have sex with a woman just so he would fit their idea of coolness and manhood.

It's sad that people would bully those who made a choice to not have sex yet. It doesn't matter how or when or with whom they choose to be with, it's their lives we have no business making them feel like they are supposed to get it over with.
